Loved your projects for a photo with it thanks for joining us. And hope you enjoyed Von as our guest designer as much as we have. Von is taking a break for the summer now. Enjoy yourself Von and hope to see you back soon X.
This week we ask for Jewel in the Crown and you can interrupt this however you feel. I have decorated a small bird house hanging. Painted it sage green and picket fence crackle also distressed it and stamped it.  Cut out my little bird from a die and I have and taken the theme literally and given him a jewelled crown using the nursery rhyme as inspiration.
Make sure you visit Janet, Von and Chrissie to see their wonderful projects. Looking forward to seeing your projects. Thank you for visiting my blog and your lovely comments. Hugs Sandra X

Von is also taking a break so enjoy it Von we will miss you. X
I have just finished this jewellery box for my DIL birthday which is today (I will miss the BBQ as I feel so horrible :(ugh)
I painted it duck egg blue and rubbed in some metallic rub to distress it and stamped onto it. The feet are wooden beads that I have painted gold and attached. The centre heart is from a card I had so pretty its perfect for the box.. The inside has also been painted and distressed and lined with handmade paper. The whole box has been finished with a seal. I bought a piece of jewellery to pop inside and the Diamond will take over today for me. Thanks for looking and taking time to comment. Enjoy your day. Hugs Sandra XXX PS sorry about the photo you can see my fingers in the top LOL.

Love your Hearts and Swirls projects thanks for joining us and for your lovely comments, also a big THANK YOU to Carol for a fab month of her as our Guest DTM. Hopefully you will love this theme just as much we ask you to decorate a picture frame or a frame. I have done this small box frame the frame itself has been painted, crackled in places and then I stamped with clear water based emboss ink and over painted then rubbed back. The scissors are stamped in black. I then rubbed metallic into the painted areas. The inside is a little sewing shop window, piles of buttons a dress form and black lace. this month we welcome Von from Artful Times as our GDT she is a lovely lady and very talented I do hope you will all welcome her and also drop by the Artful Times challenge it's worth it.
